The Governor's transmittal letter dated January 19 follows: 2021-02-18 House Journal Page 0132 "Dear Chief Clerk: Under the authority of Article III, Section 18 of the Alaska Constitution, I am transmitting a bill relating to appropriations for the state's capital budget for fiscal year 2022 and supplemental capital appropriations for fiscal year 2021. This appropriation bill includes $41.2 million in unrestricted general funds, $73.4 million in designated general funds, $174.3 million in other state funds, and $1.174 billion in federal funds. The fiscal year 2022 proposed capital budget generates economic activity for the state by investing in important infrastructure projects, provide matching funds for federal transportation, water, and sewer programs, in addition to funding deferred maintenance on aging state assets.
